An artillery T-26-4 tank was developed in the USSR in 1932-34 basing on experience of designing the T-26 tank with a A-43 turret of the constructor N. Dyrenkov. Especially for the new machine an enlarged turret was designed on the Voroshilov titled plant, inside of which the KT cannon was mounted, along with one or two DT machine guns. The tank T-26-4 was the most famous artillery tank with a rotating turret, developed on the basis of the T-26 tank.
