BT-5 - a wheel-track tank was one of the most mass-produced tanks of the Soviet Army in the middle 30th. In the end of 1933 on the turret of the BT-5 were installed two torpedo launchers for launching 250 kg tank torpedoes as additional arming. This allowed the engaging of different targets on the distance up to 1.5 km. The BT-5 tank with rocket launcher was named RBT-5.
