In April 1944 the production of new T-34-85 tanks was started. The arms consisted of 85mm S-53 gun and two 7,62mm DT machine guns. The thickness of front armor was equal to 45mm. The ammunition supply consisted of 56 rounds. The crew was five members. In total 25899 T-34-85 tanks with S-53 gun were produced.
